Bendel Insurance’s rebuild has leaned heavily on two clubs — Niger Tornadoes and Abia Warriors — for its 2026/27 reinforcements.
Bendel Insurance have been active in the transfer market ahead of the 2026/27 NPFL season, with confirmed arrivals across defence, midfield and attack. The club has indicated more signings are expected before the 28 August kick-off.
Forwards Terdoo Shimagande and Joseph Godstime join on contracts running to 2028, both arriving from Niger Tornadoes. Midfielder Sabiu Ibrahim also joins from Niger Tornadoes on a contract to 2028. From Abia Warriors, Bendel Insurance have added midfielder Fatai Abdullahi on a one-year deal and defender David Adekunle, also on a one-year contract. Midfielder Nwokeji Chukwuemeka Godstime has joined from Enyimba on a free transfer, signing a two-year deal.
