Niger Tornadoes head into 2026/27 under new technical adviser Kabiru Dogo, signed to a three-year deal after guiding El-Kanemi Warriors to Federation Cup glory. Dogo, who has also previously coached Lobi Stars, Kwara United, Nasarawa United and Sunshine Stars, arrives with the club’s target explicitly set at continental qualification.
Striker Bashir Musa joins on a two-year deal, following his coach from El-Kanemi Warriors to the Minna-based club. Goalkeeper Derrick Julu, from Benin Republic, arrives from Ikorodu City. Olalusi Michael and Zakka John join from Sunshine Stars, and midfielder Musa Abdulafeez signs from Kwara United. The club has said further signings are expected before the season starts.
