The Leopards have made history — and now they face Portugal in their debut match.
Portugal, led by Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes, are one of the tournament’s most dangerous attacking units. DR Congo’s best chance lies in staying compact, limiting Portugal’s wide play, and striking on the counter with Yoane Wissa and Cédric Bakambu as the danger men.

This match directly affects Ghana’s World Cup destiny. Ghana are in Group L alongside England and Croatia, meaning tonight’s result in Arlington shapes the group table before the Black Stars even kick off. A Croatia win would open Group L wide up; an England victory would put the Three Lions in the driving seat.
