Brighton’s 3-0 win over champions Arsenal was the shock of the round, with long-range goals from Pascal Gross and Charalampos Kostoulas and a Chema Andrés header. Man City lead on 15 points from five games, three clear of Arsenal (12), with Brighton up to third on 10. Brentford and Leeds (9 each) complete the top five after Brentford’s 3-0 win over Chelsea, who slipped to tenth.
