Ranchers Bees 2026/27: Three Signings Ahead of Ikorodu City Opener

Ranchers Bees open their 2026/27 NPFL campaign away to fellow-promoted Ikorodu City, returning to the top flight for the first time since the 2009/10 season on the back of a busy summer in the transfer market.

Squad Additions

The Kaduna-based club have added defender Kabiru Mohammed from Kwara United on a two-year deal, a left-back who has also played for Abia Warriors and spent time in Europe with Croatian side HNK Rijeka and on loan at NK Krka and NK Varaždin. Defensive midfielder Marvelous Eronmose joined on a two-year contract from Kada Warriors. Most recently, Ranchers Bees unveiled midfielder Tijjani Kabiru, who arrives after previously featuring for Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC).

Back After 16 Years

Ranchers Bees’ promotion ends a long absence from Nigeria’s top flight, and the club is one of four privately-owned sides — alongside Sporting Lagos, Inter Lagos and Doma United — promoted together for the first time in NPFL history.
