The key moment was Iyede’s equaliser, because it came only eight minutes after Katsina United scored. Blueprint reported that Abdulbari’s goal came about four minutes after the half-hour mark. Then Iyede answered three minutes before the break, so the teams went in level.

Neither side found a winner after that, while the two goals stayed the only ones of the afternoon. We could not find a detailed account of how either goal was scored, so we do not describe them. Instead, we can say that Iyede had been involved in an earlier Inter Lagos moment.
