World Cup 2026 June 24 Fixtures Preview & Betting Tips
Day 14 of the FIFA World Cup 2026 serves up a full card of six matches across Groups A, B, and C — and every game carries knockout implications. Brazil and Morocco wrap up their Group C campaigns knowing a win locks in top spot. Scotland need a result against the five-time world champions or risk an early exit. In Group B, Canada and Switzerland settle who goes through as group winners. Meanwhile, South Africa and South Korea in Group A face a do-or-die decider that will send at least one African nation crashing out.
Ghana are not in action today after their 0-0 draw with England on June 23, but Nigerian and West African fans have plenty of reasons to stay glued to the screen. Two African sides — Morocco and South Africa — have everything to play for. Here is your complete guide to every June 24 fixture, with kick-off times in WAT (UTC+1) and our best betting tips for each match.
Group B — Switzerland vs Canada (20:00 WAT)
Venue: BC Place, Vancouver | Group B standings: Canada 4pts (+6 GD), Switzerland 4pts (+3 GD)
This is a genuine battle for first place in Group B. Canada produced the tournament’s most emphatic result of the group stage so far — a 6-0 demolition of Qatar that announced them as genuine Round of 16 threats on home soil. Switzerland, meanwhile, have been solid without being spectacular, collecting four points with cleaner defensive performances. Both teams are through to the next round regardless; this match determines seeding and potential bracket position.
Canada will carry the energy of a home-crowd effect in Vancouver and the confidence of a team that knows it can score for fun. Jonathan David has been in clinical form up front. Switzerland’s strength is their organisation and midfield control — Granit Xhaka remains a class act — but Canada’s pace on the transition could cause them real problems. Our pick: Over 2.5 Goals — approx. 2.10 on Bet9ja/SportyBet. Canada have goals in them and Switzerland will push for the win.
Group B — Bosnia & Herzegovina vs Qatar (20:00 WAT)
Venue: Lumen Field, Seattle | Group B standings: Bosnia 1pt (-3 GD), Qatar 1pt (-6 GD)
Qatar’s participation in this World Cup has been a disaster. After conceding six goals to Canada, they face a Bosnia side that themselves need points to climb into third-place contention — a position that could still see them advance as one of the best third-placed teams. Bosnia have more quality, particularly in attack through Edin Džeko’s heir Ermedin Demirović, and they are motivated. Qatar, the second-lowest ranked team in the tournament, have nothing to play for except pride.
Our pick: Bosnia & Herzegovina to Win — approx. 1.65. They have the quality edge and the motivation in a match where Qatar look bereft of ideas going forward.
Group C — Scotland vs Brazil (23:00 WAT)
Venue: Hard Rock Stadium, Miami | Group C standings: Brazil 4pts, Morocco 4pts, Scotland 3pts
The marquee match of the day. Scotland, at their first World Cup since 1998, enter this game knowing that a draw may not be enough to guarantee progress. They sit third in the group on goal difference with three points, and must beat Brazil to be certain of their place in the knockout rounds. Brazil need only a point to secure top spot. That dynamic — Scotland needing to attack, Brazil comfortable to sit — should make for an interesting tactical contest.
Brazil have looked dangerous without being imperious. Vinícius Júnior has scored in both games and will terrorise Scotland’s defensive left side. Raphinha, however, is out with a hamstring injury which removes a key creative option. Scotland beat Haiti and lost narrowly to Morocco in what has been a creditable campaign for Steve Clarke’s side. John McGinn is their creative engine and they have pace on the flanks.
Our pick: Brazil to Win — approx. 1.45. Brazil’s extra quality should tell over 90 minutes, especially with Vinicius Jr at full tilt against a Scotland side that will need to commit men forward.
Group C — Morocco vs Haiti (23:00 WAT)
Venue: Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta | Group C standings: Morocco 4pts, Haiti 0pts (eliminated)
Morocco have been one of the most impressive sides of the group stage. The Atlas Lions sit on four points after wins over Scotland and a draw with Brazil, and they face a Haiti side that has already been mathematically eliminated. Walid Regragui’s men will prioritise keeping it tight and managing the game rather than going for goals — a win of any margin confirms them in the top two of Group C.
Haiti deserve credit for their spirit but have been overwhelmed by the quality gap against both Brazil and Morocco. Expect Morocco to be professional and patient. For Nigerian fans, Morocco are Africa’s second-most exciting side remaining at the tournament. Check the Morocco World Cup 2026 squad and fixtures page for more.
Our pick: Morocco to Win — approx. 1.25. Routine professional three points for the Atlas Lions.
Group A — Czechia vs Mexico (02:00 WAT, June 25)
Venue: Estadio Azteca, Mexico City | Group A standings: Mexico 6pts (qualified), Czechia 1pt
Mexico have already qualified as group winners with two victories and will field a rotated squad for this home fixture at the iconic Estadio Azteca. Czechia are on one point and need a win plus South Africa to slip up if they are to reach the knockout stages. For Mexico, the priority is to avoid injury before the Round of 32. Expect a competitive match but not a classic — Mexico have little to play for and Czechia face an enormous hill to climb.
Our pick: Draw at half-time / Mexico to win at full time — approx. 3.20. Mexico may start cautious and manage the game to a late result with fringe players.
Group A — South Africa vs South Korea (02:00 WAT, June 25)
Venue: Estadio BBVA, Monterrey | Group A standings: South Korea 3pts (0 GD), South Africa 1pt (-2 GD)
The standout late match for African fans. South Africa are the continent’s third team in action today and they must win to have any realistic chance of progressing. They sit on one point after drawing one and losing one, while South Korea have three points from a win over Czechia and need only a draw to confirm their qualification. The Taegeuk Warriors should have one eye on the knockout stage and will defend their position; Bafana Bafana need to go for broke.
South Africa stunned many observers by qualifying for this tournament and they have quality — Percy Tau and Themba Zwane can cause problems. But South Korea, led by Heung-min Son, are a serious outfit. This is a huge ask for Bafana Bafana. For the full South Africa story, check the South Africa World Cup 2026 guide.
Our pick: South Korea to Win — approx. 1.80. South Korea should have enough composure and quality to see this out, even if Bafana push them.
