Hadi Deal Confirmed

Sporting Lagos have completed the signing of attacking midfielder Haruna Hadi from relegated Remo Stars on a contract running to 2028, beating fellow NPFL side Shooting Stars to the deal. Hadi was part of the Remo Stars squad that won the NPFL title two seasons ago and has featured for Nigeria’s home-based Super Eagles at continental level. Nigerian football analyst Samuel Areo likened his style to Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers, calling the move “a good capture for Sporting Lagos.”

Back After Two Seasons Down

Sporting Lagos, nicknamed the Noisy Lagosians, return to the NPFL two seasons after their own relegation, having won the 2025/26 Nigeria National League title to secure automatic promotion. The club is known for a commercially structured, youth-focused setup among Nigeria’s newer private clubs.
