BetKing App Nigeria: Download, Install and How to Use It
BetKing is the official betting partner of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), and its mobile app is built around Nigerian football — with live NPFL markets, local payment methods, and a data-light design suited to Nigerian mobile networks. This guide covers how to get the BetKing app on your Android or iOS device, what you can do inside it, and how to troubleshoot the most common issues.
BetKing App Availability in Nigeria
BetKing offers an Android APK download directly from its website. Like most Nigerian bookmakers, BetKing is not listed on the Google Play Store due to Google’s policy on real-money gambling apps. iOS users can access BetKing fully through the optimised mobile website and save it to their home screen as a web app.
How to Download the BetKing Android App
- Enable unknown app installation. Go to Settings → Security → Install unknown apps and toggle it on for your browser. This allows APK files from outside the Play Store to be installed.
- Go to betking.com on your Android device’s browser — always use the official site.
- Find and tap the Download App link. This is usually in the homepage header or footer.
- Download the APK file. When prompted, confirm the download. The file will appear in your Downloads folder.
- Open the APK and tap Install when prompted. The process takes under one minute.
- Launch BetKing and log in, or register a new account from the app.
BetKing on iPhone (iOS)
There is no BetKing app available in the Apple App Store for Nigerian users. Instead, use Safari to visit betking.com and save the site to your home screen:
- Open betking.com in Safari.
- Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Select Add to Home Screen, enter a name, and tap Add.
The saved shortcut opens the BetKing mobile site in full-screen mode with access to all features.

BetKing App Problems and Fixes
APK won’t install — ensure Install unknown apps is enabled for your browser. Re-download the APK from betking.com if the file appears corrupted (zero-byte file or install fails immediately).
App crashes after launch — clear the cache: Settings → Apps → BetKing → Storage → Clear Cache. If crashing continues, uninstall and reinstall using a fresh APK download. Outdated APK versions often become incompatible after Android system updates.
Login problems — reset your password using the Forgot Password option on the login screen. If your account is locked following multiple failed attempts, contact BetKing support to unlock it.
Odds not updating — this is almost always a connectivity issue. Switch between mobile data and Wi-Fi, or close and reopen the app to force a refresh.
Bet not placing — check your account balance and ensure your stake meets the minimum bet amount. Also confirm that the match has not already kicked off — some pre-match markets close at kick-off.
