Queen Joseph scored a hat-trick, including a penalty, while Mark Akpan and Esther Enne Stephen also found the net as Akeem Busari’s side held off a spirited Benin comeback.
The win confirms Nigeria’s return to the global stage at a tournament being hosted by Morocco in October.

Turkish champions value Super Eagles striker at 150 million euros amid Saudi and Atletico Madrid interest
Galatasaray are standing firm on Victor Osimhen despite fresh transfer offers, including reported bids worth up to 125 million euros from a Saudi Arabian club and continued interest from Atletico Madrid.
Club president Dursun Ozbek has valued the Super Eagles striker at 150 million euros and has ruled out opening negotiations.
Galatasaray are instead preparing a new long-term contract through 2029 that would hand Osimhen the captaincy and the number 9 shirt following Mauro Icardi’s exit.
Osimhen has already completed his pre-season medicals in Istanbul.
